The intensive care unit at Penang's Kepala Batas Hospital has reached 100 percent occupancy rate. Hence, the Ministry of Health has partnered with the armed forces personnel from the army medical corps to set up field intensive care unit for treating critical patients. Tzu Chi Malaysia also supported them by providing personal protective equipment.
